Well, what can I say? That was the most awesomest, rockin'est, most beautiful & amazing wedding EV-ER! (my biased opinion, of course). It was truly everything we hoped for and more. A dream wedding. The band rocked, the food was amazing, the place was gorgeous, and of course our beloved friends and family who helped us celebrate made it the most special of all!
Surprisingly, in the week or two before, instead of being crazy-stressed out, we sort of moved together into this really cool state of "happy-calm". I can't really explain it, but we worked together, got stuff done, and just really revelled in the "quiet before the storm". We fully enjoyed our "pre-wedded" relationship. It was very romantic. No nerves, just excitement! And I only sufferred from a few sleepness nights before the wedding (on account of all that excitement).
I did lose 14 pounds in all, yes. The dress fit (pause for applause), but I still have a good 15 pounds to go. Looking at the wedding photos, well....I loved the dress and I'm trying not to be so self-critical, but what can I say? But that's what the rest of my life is for! (although I'm shooting for Labor Day as a goal date for at least 10 of them!)
