Three pounds down in three weeks. That is enough to keep me going! I'm going to do it this time. I'm going to have to wear t-shirts with jeans soon, being that I'm a cowgirl now, and "blousey" tops to cover my muffin top at the ranch will just look ridiculous....or super cute! No...ridiculous.
I hiked twice last week and hope to keep it up. It feels good to get my lungs working again. Wow, it's amazing how quickly you lose lung capacity! I'm going to try to get more consistent with yoga again also. But now my roping practice/obsession is in competition with my "yoga time". Must find balance...
On the horse front, I've had some wonderful break throughs with my horse. She is actually relaxing (or I am) and we are having a "conversation". She is calmer and doing some things that I'm asking her for, I've just learned not to ask for too much, too soon, or ask too loudly. She is a sensitive soul and quickly becomes unhappy and resistant if she feels my disappointment or frustration. So I have to just smile and ride....smile and ride....s..m..i..l..e.. and ride! : )

Great posts about riding- I have always wanted to learn to ride a horse. I know what you mean about finding balance- there are so many things I would like to do and accomplish, and it is so hard to find the time and motivation to even do some of them! Wishing you the best, and congrats on making some headway on your fitness goals!
