Week in Hikes - Week Two




Technically, Kristin and I have been hiking for a few months now, but we recently kicked it up a notch and I just started logging them, so this is "officially" the 2nd week.

As you can tell by my "Self-portrait", I'm literally half the size I used to be! Or it could be the camera angle....I'm going with the former.

OK! Here is the GOOD:

Sunday 3/14: Oat Hill Mine Trail Calistoga 8 Miles, 2300 calorie burn

Wednesday 3/17: Pleasanton Ridge 3 Miles, 680 calorie burn

Friday 3/19: Pleasanton Ridge 3 Miles, 680 calorie burn

Saturday 3/20: Morrison Canyon (from Kristin's house) 6 Miles, 1200 calorie burn

Total Burn: 4,860 (that's 1.4 pounds!)

But then there's the bad:

1 Bag of Flamin' Hot Cheese Puffs
1 Night of Burrito and Margarita Madness
1 Night out with "People Who Call Themselves My Friends" but let me order the Sliders and Fries
1 Little League Snack Shack Super Nachos and Pack of Now & Laters (it's a Little League Snack Shack. I have to support the team!)

I hope I didn't undo all the hard work. I jumped on the scale (by accident, because my official weigh in is not for a few more weeks), and it's not looking too good. But we'll see! Wish me luck!
