Fitwife? Really???

About the name “fitwife”: A friend of mine sent me, and another fitness-minded friend, a link to something called a “fitbit”. It’s an amazing piece of technology that you wear on your person and it tracks the calories burned throughout the day, steps taken, distance travelled, even how much good sleep you’re getting! It syncs up to a remote thingy (like an IPod docking station) and transfers your information to an on line profile that you create (where you can also track your food intake). I don’t know if I’ll actually buy one, I’ll let my friend try it out first and report back on it, but she decided to call hers a “fitbitch” (love it!). So, we all started tossing around some name ideas for OUR fitbits (most of which I won’t repeat here), and somebody suggested “fitwife” for mine. Aww, cute right? I know… Barf. But it stuck….and it’s cute. Besides, although I’m not the type to ever “identify myself” by various labels (I just "am"), I am totally stoked to soon become “Rob’s Wife”. So “fitwife” it is!
